The Fubar III USB DAC / Headphone Amp lets you connect your computer to your Amplifier and stream your entire music library with remarkable fidelity! Enjoying “High End” sound from your computer has never been easier! With the Fubar III you simply plug and play without having to install additional software or drivers.

The Fubar III takes the digital signal from your computer and converts it to a high quality analog output that connects to any integrated amp or preamp. or use the built in headphone amp and listen with your favorite headphones. The full size USB connection is fully compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.

The Fubar III MkII uses the highly aclamed NS LM4562 Opamp in the DAC section and the Burr Brown OPA2604 opamps in the headphone amp module. The OPA2604 is changeable allowing you to “roll OpAmps" and customize the sound to your exact taste.

The Fubar III MkII now includes analog inputs. The analog inputs let you connect your iPod, CD Player or any other component with an analog output to the Fubar III and listen with headphones.

Compatible with your Favorite Headphones
The Fubar III is optimized for a wide range of headphone impedances. From the Etymotic ER4P (27 ohm) to the AKG K240DF (600 ohm), the high bandwidth, extreme low noise design (lower than -110db) yields greater than 105 dB of dynamic range and exceeds the capabilities of the human ear. This ensures it can handle even the most difficult headphones.

Two gain settings, selectable by a rear panel switch, allow for quick and easy optimization for high or low efficiency headphones.

A specially designed power supply section ensures a minimum of interference for noise free listening.

To satisfy us tweakers, the Fubar III features user changeable headphone Opamps and a Shunt/Series type volume control. Other features include Short Circuit and Thermal protection.

Built to Last
As with all Firestone components the Fubar III is manufactured with a solid aluminum chassis and features an anodized aluminum face plate. The volume knob is also machined from solid aluminum for a high quality look and feel.
